After college, I decided to not study the mating habits of Finding Nemo. I found that level of science to be too academic and wanted something more likely to have real, visual improvements in the environment. I took advantage of in-state tuition and the job-oriented masters program at the SPEA at IU Bloomington. I broadened my environmental perspective and continued my focus on field work during my stay in small-town southern Indiana.
